Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped him break into mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) was awarded a Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017. Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was issued in 2017 by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. Its Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. In the following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the Top Latin Albums chart. Mala Influencia is his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. Following that year, Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. In 2021, he sang a duet. the singer sang a duet 2021 with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo comes from an musical family, as both his elder brother and mother are also musicians. According to him, musicality was an integral part of his life. As a child, he was taught how to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. The initial goal was to be a veterinarian however, his brother Julian convinced him to study singing with a Cuban instructor. The end result was that he realized his talent for singing and altered the direction of his life.
