Rosalia
Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") She is a Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. Since she was a teen she was involved both in traditional and popular music. But, her music interests have widened to encompass soul and hip-hop. Her voice has been described by no less an artist than the Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp however with a bit of bite similar to older versions. El Mal Querer is her second album, released in 2018, which has been a commercial and critical success. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she received an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as a Latin Grammy nod. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. The third album by Motomami featured songwriting collaborations with a variety of producers and artists including Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to perform alone on the popular program. Motomami the album by Rosalia that was awarded three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to win an award for Latin Album of the Year award twice.
